About Us
Angel’s Helping Hands, a nonprofit organization (501c3) founded by Dr. Angel White in January 2021. Angel’s Helping Hands is a mentorship program designed for young teen girls and boys aged 13 to 18 to help guide, support, and inspire them with educational endeavors, personal and professional development, and career advancement. This is done through educational seminars, workshops, one-on-one and group mentoring meetings, enrichment activities, job shadowing, career speakers, college tours, and much more.
Dr. Angel White started Angel’s Helping Hands after serving as a mentor for over 15 years for females of all different ages. She genuinely loves extending a helping hand by giving back and helping make a difference in the lives of others. She focuses on providing high-quality coordinated activities and learning experiences that will help the youth achieve social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. She prides herself on helping the youth gain the ability to analyze their own strengths and weaknesses and have the self-confidence to pursue and achieve their goals while building healthy relationships and reducing negative and high-risk behaviors such as teen pregnancy, STD/STIs, dropping out of school, doing drugs, smoking, joining gangs, violence, moods (depression/anxiety), and more.
Goal:
To positively impact the growth and development of the youth. As a result of the Angel’s Helping Hands Mentorship Programs, young girls and boys will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to reach their fullest potential and become successful women and men.
Mission:
To inspire the youth to reach their fullest potential by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary for their journey to adulthood and success.
Vision:
To make a positive difference in the life of every teen girl and boy apart of Angel’s Helping Hands Mentorship Programs by contributing to their future success on their journey to becoming women and men who will be positive and productive people of society.
