Dr. Angel White, Founder and President
Dr. Angel White is the Founder and President of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization. She is a doctoral-prepared Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her doctorate in nursing at Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, Illinois, and graduated with honors. She earned her master’s degree in nursing with a graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015 and her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Governors State University in University Park, Illinois in 2013. She earned her associate degree in nursing with an undergraduate program focus as a Registered Nurse from Prairie State College in Chicago Heights, Illinois in 2010. Angel is an active member of several professional organizations including the National Nursing Association and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. Angel is also the co-owner of A & S Divine Healthcare where she provides high-quality healthcare services to the patients/clients, families, and communities she serves.
Dr. Angel White, a Chicago native, loves teaching and helping others. For many years, she has been helping, assisting, guiding, supporting, encouraging, mentoring, and inspiring many females of all different ages. She positively impacts the future generation of women by sharing her knowledge, skills, and personal and professional experiences. She believes nothing is more powerful than helping others by providing them with knowledge and opportunities. She brings passion, energy, and creativity to her leadership role at Angel’s Helping Hands. Her strong interest in leading effectively has been the driving force behind her education, career choices, and giving back to the community.
Dr. Shadae Booker-Shelton, Vice President
Dr. Shadae Booker-Shelton is the Vice President of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization. She is a master’s degree prepared Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shadae earned her doctorate degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY in 2022. She earned her master’s degree of nursing from Governor State University in University Park, IL in 2019. She previously earned her bachelor’s degree of nursing from Purdue University in Hammond, IN in 2015 and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from DeVry University Tinley Park, IL in 2007. Shadae is also the co-owner of A & S Divine Healthcare where she provides high-quality healthcare services to the patients/clients, families, and communities she serves.
Shadae Booker-Shelton, a Chicago native, is passionate about educating, empowering, and aiding the youth on developing life skills. She prides herself on being an educated woman, a mother, and giving back to the community. Shadae is committed to the young women that will be a part of Angel’s Helping Hands and hopeful to gain lifelong relationships that will be impactful to their success and life skills.
Tiffany Joubert, Secretary
Tiffany Joubert is the Secretary of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization. She graduated from Dillard University with a bachelor’s in Biology and Chemistry with a concentration in Clinical Laboratory medicine in 2005. She is board certified as a licensed Microbiologist at a Medical Laboratory. She performed clinical laboratory experience and internship at St. Margaret Mercy Hospital. She is a member of the Beta Kappa Chi National Honors Society. She is currently working as a scientist saving lives and performing research.
Tiffany Joubert, a Chicago native, enjoys helping others, learning new things, and teaching others the importance of health and medicine. She has a strong passion in mentoring young ladies to better themselves and grow to become the best they can be. She helped contribute to the “Big Sister Program” while an undergrad mentoring young woman on the importance of education and health. She is always believed that with the right guidance and support system young girls can accomplish anything. With a strong foundation in education and a passion for helping and encouraging others she brings leadership and professional development to Angel’s Helping Hands.
A’vril Smith, Program Coordinator
A’vril Smith is the Program Coordinator of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization. She has her Health and Life license for the state of Illinois and is currently working on her bachelor’s in psychology at Capella University. She works at United Health Group overseeing a team of 200 staff that are dedicated to making the health care system work better for everyone.
A’vril Smith, a Chicago native, with more than 12 years of experience in leadership, A’vril’s passion is helping our youth grow and become the best version of themselves. Her mission is to inform, empower, and uplift our youth to their highest potential. As a mother of 4 and wife, A’vril understands this mission not only starts at home but extends to our community.
Jocelyn Robinson, Treasurer
Jocelyn Robinson is the Treasurer of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization. Jocelyn attended the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign where she earned her bachelor’s in psychology in 2009. She earned her master’s degree in Child Psychology in 2013 and Applied Behavior Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2013. Jocelyn received her board certification in 2015 in which she became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children & adults with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Jocelyn is Co-Owner of Strive ABA Consultants, a Chicagoland based ABA therapy practice providing in-home & clinic-based ABA Therapy services across the Chicagoland and Indiana area since 2018. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and adults with special needs and developmental disabilities.
Jocelyn Robinson, a Chicago native, she believes the youth is the blueprint vision of our future. How we love, teach, and shape our youth today determines the quality of our world tomorrow. Jocelyn is highly motivated and determined to help positively impact the life of every child she encounters.
DR. TIFFANI ROBERTSON, PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Dr. Tiffani Robertson is a Program Coordinator of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Networking Communications Management, a Master’s in Business Administration—marketing, and a PhD in Educational Administration Foundations—Higher Education.
This year marks Tiffani’s 19th year in higher education. She started her career as a student worker at DeVry University and is currently the Associate Director of Enrollment Management at Governors State University. In addition to her full-time position, she is also an Adjunct Faculty member at GSU and Southern New Hampshire University.
Tiffani brings years of state and national-level board experience. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being active (whether it’s a good HIIT class or enjoying yoga and meditation), dancing, and traveling. Tiffani is committed to providing youth in the community opportunities to grow in their personal, life, and professional skills.
